Doctoral Schools at the University of Vienna

The Vienna Doctoral Schools provide excellent conditions including team supervision and various funding possibilities that allow realizing international competitive research. In the Doctoral Schools, doctoral candidates will find an active and inspiring research environment, a vibrant PhD community and many ways to connect with peers from home and abroad on a social and professional level.

The Code of Good Practice for Doctoral Schools provides guidelines for good practice that are binding for all doctoral schools at the University of Vienna. It includes the responsibilities of the directors of doctoral schools and of supervisors as well as the responisbilities of doctoral candidates.
